Hatstand, a global financial consultancy, has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA We are working on a major project within the Cash Equities division of a Tier 1 Investment Bank. We are supplementing staff by the addition of key hires. The project will be run from London but team members will be in both London and NYC. Applications are sought from experienced post trade java developers who are used to the demands of working under the Agile methodology. It is vital that you have prior experience of working within front office trading technology and that you have a good understanding of Investment banking Cash Equity Trading. The role will work on various development projects on our EMEA post trade processing systems Understand business requirement and come up with technically sound design Develop/test implementation as per design Communicate with user/BA and perform UAT Support front-to-back testing Own and manage the project/task that got assigned to him/her Provide level 3 support Core Skills: 5 years experience in core Java development Strong in object-oriented design Strong communication skill, ability to understand business requirement and explain to users on system behaviour 3 years experience on Linux shell scripting Experience in C++/C# an advantage, although not required Experience working across multiple teams and functions to ensure alignment Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and standards, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service Excellent writing and communication skills Knowledge of Cash Equities and/or FX, Derivatives Experience of managing projects that span change in multiple front-office systems and teams Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver working results Hatstand - a Synechron company is a Global Financial Consultancy and Capital Markets Specialist.
