THE ROLE The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight for the day-to-day monitoring and support of the Strategy Management product which is a key part of the business operation, providing the tools to design and automate processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity to provide positive input into how to shape the organisation, both to achieve commercial benefit and reduce business risks. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Demonstrable evidence of enforcing process changes. • Demonstrable evidence of working with designing and automating processes, with the ability to take business requirements and translate them into working solutions. • Experience of large volume functions • Strong communication skills including the ability to break down barriers. • Team player with cross functional achievements. • Financial services knowledge would be an advantage. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence your responsibilities will include:- • Accountability for the change process, ensuring all changes are adequately documented and tested as part of BAU or project changes. • Accountability for support, ensuring strategies are operating as intended. • Performance reporting, ensuring delivery is as per the agreed key metrics. • Identify areas of poor processes and work to improve with process owners. • Identify and recommend key process control improvements. • Compile progress reports, detailing changes, in particular with key updates to Operational Risk Committee and Change Board. • Develop close relationships with all operational areas across the group. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES • Strong ability to interpret processes effectively to allow them to be documented accurately and changes made where appropriate. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Ability to plan and manage large volumes of work, and communicate effectively progress on work • Strong attention to detail • A positive attitude, willing to contribute to the overall improvement and success of the business and working practices • Coaching/mentoring. • Ability to work on own initiative or as a part of a team. • Ability to adapt quickly to change and be flexible.
