A leading media company require a Data Analyst to work closely with a variety of teams, primarily producers and marketing team, to help frame the appropriate questions to ask of the available data. You will have a strong analytical background and good experience with SQL. You will also select and deploy appropriate analytical and statistical techniques to help with a range of tasks including but not restricted to: Segmentation Modelling Propensity modelling and churn analysis 'what if' analysis Regression analysis Econometrics/media mix modelling Trend and cluster analysis to identify patterns in customer behaviour Customer profiling As a Data Analyst you will have the following skills: Sound understanding of relational databases and CRM systems o Ability to build complex queries using SQL and joining multiple tables o Understanding of T-SQL and stored procedures o Experience of SQL Server (preferably 2008 onwards) and SQL Server Data Types Mathematical/Statistical background Advanced Excel Experience with Faststats or comparable platform Experience with statistical tools such as SAS or SPSS an advantage Ability to present findings and recommendations both verbally and using powerpoint Calibre Search promotes equality in the workplace and acts as both an employment agency and employment business.
