Great re-numeration and career prospects for the right kind of infrastructure engineer. Will be involved in large scale Exchange / AD migrations at client sites in central London. Looking for a 3 rd line engineer with a strong project background within Exchange / AD. Good client facing skills are a big plus. Please apply for a full job spec and additional client information. Infrastructure Engineer / Exchange 2013 / Messaging / Active Directory / Migrations / Project / Responsibilities Active Directory is being consolidated from many domains to a single Forest/Domain. Email is being consolidated from many email systems to a single email platform (Exchange hybrid environment, Exchange 2013/ Exchange Online) Windows desktops are being consolidated to a single software and update management platform (Microsoft SCCM) and set of policies (via Active Directory GPOs), and antivirus is being consolidated to a single antivirus platform (McAfee ePO) Work face to face with users when communicating migration timings. Works face to face with business unit contacts when gathering information, testing, and completing pilot work. Work face to face with users to resolve an issue post migration if required. Work face to face with existing I.T. support team to ensure they understand the planned changes and how to support the environment during migration and post migration. Infrastructure Engineer / Exchange 2013 / Messaging / Active Directory / Migrations / Project / Essential Skills Advanced skill migrating users, computers, and servers between Active Directory Forests/Domains. Please note, the migration process has been defined, however a good understanding of how authentication in cross forest trust scenarios is required, as this is important for troubleshooting issues (for reference we use the Dell Quest migration tool). Advanced skills in migrating mailboxes between email platforms. Please note, the migration process is defined, however a good understanding of mailbox migrations is important for assisting on troubleshooting issues. Advanced skills in migrating computers to new Active Directory domains, migrating to new Windows image (we are targeting Windows 7 and Windows 10), and an understanding of group policies for setting machine and user behaviour is required. Please note, the migration process is defined, however a good understanding of computer migrations is important for assisting on troubleshooting issues. Basic skills in Microsoft SCCM application and image deployment understanding, SCCM client troubleshooting, SCCM image and application installation troubleshooting. Please note SCCM server side infrastructure management and SCCM Windows images are completed by another team, and then delivered for testing. SCCM server side skills are not required. Intermediate skills in migrating computers and servers to new Antivirus platforms. Please note, the migration process is defined, however a good understanding of migrating antivirus platforms is important for assisting troubleshooting issues. Significant experience in migrations of users, computers and servers between Active Directory Forests/Domains in large enterprise required. Significant experience in migration of mailboxes between email platforms in large enterprise required. Significant experience in migrating computers to new images in large enterprise required. Some experience in migrating computer and servers to new antivirus platforms.
