Techinal 2nd line Support - South Wales- £18,000 – £21,000 My client is actively looking for a bright, flexible and determined 1st line 2nd line support analyst who can priorities their time solving problems whilst keeping calm, under pressured situations. You will be required to handle calls as well incident management within a professional environment, dealing with backup media processing dealing with automated alerts generated by the monitoring platform, creating reports, BAVS file processing and gathering data. This position requires you to be flexible to provide 24/7 coverage and you need to be prepared to work weekday and weekend shift patterns. The formats of the shifts are as follows; four-on/four-off rota alternating 12 hour day and night shifts. Main Responsibilities Key focus on customer service. Organising current IT issues bringing new product faults to the attention of management. Monitoring hardware and software. Meeting client SLAs for all calls logged via helpdesk systems i.e. Severity 1 calls. Time management. Communicating to all team members any changes in standards and procedures. Required Skills and Experience Great Communication Skills. Avaya Red Telephony creation Proven experience of 1st line- 2nd line support. Windows Server troubleshooting. AS/400 support and process. Windows Desktop 7/8.
