MI and ETL Developer (SQL, T-SQL, Talend, Cognos, PowerBI, BI tools, Big Data tools) South East 50-55K Benefits Austin Fraser are looking for a skilled Management Information / Business Information Developer to join an important and expanding team for a progressive international company leading its field. The successful applicant will be working to reshape the Management Information systems and tech suite from the ground up as the legacy solution is migrated to the cloud. Initially the role will see the management of competing forces for 'Business As Usual' and day to day reporting and systems, coupled with the need to progress the systems forward and to construct a new cloud based solution that partners with existing systems and technology suites. You will have a strong background in ETL and SQL, as well as with automation of development- you will be tasked with optimising the systems and process in conjunction with build and release, helping to develop the platforms to facilitate full automation and coding Required experience and skills: Excellent SQL (MS SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL) with T-SQL as well Extensive experience in ETL and Talend Strong understanding of analytical architecture, its components, configuration and options (including open source and cloud) Enterprise Data Warehouse design and build BI tool suite- SSIS, Cognos, PowerBI (Powerpivot), Business Objects, SSAS Big data experience in architecture, processing, analysis Relational and non relational - including Data Modelling in both relational and NoSQL platforms Time and project management NoSQL big data analytics technologies - Hadoop, Mongo, Talend, Hive, Pig, Pentaho Data mining Channeling unstructured data (Clickstream and Google Analytics etc) and integrating with structured transactional Cloud warehousing and analysis, and Migration from ground to cloud including AWS Data quality and governance The need for strong communication skills as well as time management are high.
