Role Purpose: Reporting to the Head of Product Lines and working closely with a lead voice product manager, the candidate will be responsible for the product management of a set of voice services and applications, helping implement and drive the product strategy for each. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the development the product plan and strategy Delivering the agreed plan Understanding market requirements for both channel partners and end-users Assist in delivering a clear market positioning and differentiation Working with marketing in defining and delivering the product marketing plan Creating and maintaining product documentation Keeping abreast of new and emerging ‘technologies’ and market developments Monitoring competitors, develop and maintain competitive analysis and information Assist in defining and the product roadmap for new features and enhancements Working closely with the development team to deliver the roadmap profitably and in budget Help building business cases for new application or features Contributing to the specification work for support systems and customer tools Monitoring and reporting monthly on the key product performance indicators Assisting in the development a robust forecasting process to support the planning processes Performance Metrics: Revenue and margin per service against plan Quality of services – as defined by faults, issues, logistics, and ease of provisioning Product Enhancements to defined timescales and quality About the candidate: Product Manager - Voice and Applications - SIP, IVR, Contact Centre This is a role for a candidate who has a firm grounding in product management, but is now looking to develop their skill set to the next level, in a challenging but very rewarding commercial environment.
