Electrical Engineer - £25,000 - £30,000 (£35,000 if you have PLC knowledge and can program machines) + 22.5 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Early finish on a Friday + Overtime paid at premium rates

Electrical Engineer required for family run, stable business that supply packaging machinery world-wide. The company value their employees and offer long term careers.

The successful candidate will be a Electrical Engineer with experience of building / maintaining/servicing and installing manufacturing/production lines. Electrically you must have experience fault finding, PAT testing, 1 and 3 phase. You must be confident working on computerized systems. If you have PLC knowledge and are comfortable programming machines this would be advantageous.
The company work internationally and on occasion you may be required to stay away and travel.

To role will be both workshop and field based, you will build and install equipment as well as servicing/maintaining packaging equipment brought into the facility. You will also be required to cover the West Yorkshire patch, installing kit at customer premises. This will require occasional stay away. The company themselves manufacture packaging machines and other associated equipment for production lines.

The role:

* Building/ Service/ Maintenance and Installation of filling and packaging machinery

* Working from technical drawings

* The shift 7-4pm Monday-Thursday, 7-1 pm Friday

* Transporting equipment and installing it on production lines

The candidate:

* 3 years electrical engineering experience and ideally educational qualification

* Experience working on 3 phase and must be able to fault find

* Must have full UK driving license
