You will be working for...

One of Bristol's leading brand and digital graphic design agencies. Founded in 2001, we have a large range of clients in a wide range of sectors. As a full service agency we work on branding, graphic design, and all aspects of digital design and marketing.

In this role, you will be...

- Joining a creative team where you will build a great deal of experience and be challenged by interesting builds
- Dealing with front end HTML development
- Website building, using HTML and CSS
- Working with designers to fulfil designs

You're training...

Starts with a 12-14 month IT apprenticeship, which consists of training in small groups and work based assessment, covering: Object-oriented programming (OOP), SQL data modelling, Web and systems development, Event-driven programming.

You will gain City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications in IT Systems & Principles and IT Professional Competence, as well as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) in software development fundamentals. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £40k in the IT sector.

The ideal candidate will be...

- Someone with a high attention to detail with a willingness to learn
- Someone with experience working in modern HTML5, CSS3, and integration with Word Press or Umbraco
- Someone with experience using hand coded HTML5 & CSS as this forms 80% of the work and skills with PHP and mySql will help
- Someone with the ability to learn quickly, pick up from other developers and learn from online resources
- Someone with 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English

Other Important Information...

- Daily working hours are from Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
- You will have the opportunity to build PHP experience if you would like to
- We develop sites onto the UMBRACO platform which requires C#.NET and SQL skills, so learning this language is also an option
- If you have experience with JavaScript & jQuery - Responsive & Cross Browser development experience would be helpful

You will gain a career in web development, progression up the pay scale and will gain further responsibilities such as client handling, attending meetings in Bristol and London. And you will attend conferences and trade events with opportunities to gain further learning and experience.
