Norbar Torque Tools Ltd., the world leading torque tool manufacturer has a vacancy for an experienced Field Sales Engineer to join our Norbar UK Sales team.

Responsible to the UK Business Manager, you will be required to support the sales strategy by promoting Brand awareness through servitization, engineered solutions, product demonstrations and attendance at exhibitions and seminars.

You will establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with key decision makers with targeted end users and OEMs within your territory.

Maintaining and developing a detailed understanding of new and existing Norbar products is essential and therefore you will have previous experience within the UK Hand Tool Industry, preferably in a related industry, in a field sales role. A strong background in one of the following would be a significant benefit; oil and gas, automotive, manufacturing, power generation, aerospace and transportation.

You will be expected to live, travel and work in the areas highlighted and in return we can offer a starting salary of £35,399 plus lease car.

To engage with end users and O.E.M. customers in selected industrial markets to embed Norbar as the torque product of choice. To provide training and technical support to T2 distribution channels.


- To support the UK Business Manager by developing and implementing a 3 year end user sales strategy.

- To effectively support and become the first Norbar point of contact for T2 distribution

channels and develop long term profitable sales growth.

- To maintain and develop a detailed understanding of existing and new Norbar products.

- To establish, build and maintain relationships with the key decision makers within the targeted end users and OEMs on your territory.

- Identify and detail any global sourcing opportunities within selected end users.

- To co-ordinate and support the UK Business Manager in raising our "Brand Presence" through servitization, engineered solutions, product demonstrations, exhibitions and seminars etc.

- To feedback to the business any relevant market intelligence or competitor activity and to work closely with Norbar marketing on maintaining an end user database for all key contacts.

- To liaise and work closely with the Norbar UK Regional Sales Managers facilitating technical support and servitization opportunities where appropriate.

- To provide a quality service to both internal and external customers ensuring support is always available and enquiries or queries are answered accurately in a timely fashion.

- To work to revenue targets and KPI's as set by the UK Business Manager.
