A well regarded Insurance Broker with Lloyd's presence is seeking a Account Handler to join their team.

Individual must have knowledge of Commercial Insurance products and scheme focused business.

The role is designed to provide support to Account Handlers and ensure effective handling of all allocated work and accurate preparation of all documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting account handlers in confirming existing business and renewal quotations to intermediary.
Correspond with the intermediary requesting renewal information.
Respond promptly to intermediary queries.
Enter renewal business on to the system.
Deal with mid-term policy queries and issue endorsements where appropriate.
To ensure accuracy and quality of system data to ensure data and information integrity.

Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of the company's purpose and objectives.
Able to demonstrate a basic awareness of our markets and competitors.
Demonstrate a basic knowledge of relevant product features, benefits exclusion and warranties.
Able to differentiate between products available to the client.

Systems/processes knowledge:

Can create debit and credit notes, run standard reports, communicate efficiently with clients and market.
Microsoft packages.

Personal and business skills and attributes:

Recognises the need to develop personal or interpersonal behaviour and participates in activities for self-improvement.
Understand the requirements of the customer.
Understands the importance of accurate Management Information and is able to provide clear information to support senior team members with their report writing.

Salary Indicator: £22,000 - £27,500
