A leading Lloyd's Insurer based in London is recruiting for a Catastrophe Risk Analyst. This role will suit a 2nd jobber who is looking for the next step in the Catastrophe Modelling/Exposure Management world.

The role will be responsible for providing underwriting support to the Property underwriting teams, specifically catastrophe modelling and pricing, and technical risk analysis

Key Responsibilities

Provide pricing and risk analysis for Open Market & Engineering accounts, through preparation of RMS output to include pure premium, return period losses & RDS losses.
Enter location & policy data including perils, sub-limits and deductibles into RMS RiskLink
Liaise with external service provider and update File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site with schedules that require cleansing & downloading cleansed schedules
Support the underwriting risk assessment process.
Provide data to underwriters to assist in portfolio optimisation.
Assist in benchmark pricing of contracts within Open Market account.
Interact with underwriting support functions, including data management, claims, risk management and compliance.

Knowledge and Experience

Experience of working in the Insurance market within Catastrophe Modelling or Exposure Management
Knowledge and experience of RMS
Strong working industry knowledge, open market preferable
Knowledge of Catastrophe modelling & data requirements
