Are you an ACCA / ACA qualified Accounts Manager / Business Services Manager from a practice background with post qualification experience looking for your next challenge in a medium sized London based practice that specialises in Media, Entertainment, TV, Creative & Sport Clients? Are you looking to work in a high profile role, be based in a growing firm and be responsible for all accounting and tax affairs of your clients? Your role will be accounts and tax based: You will manage your own portfolio of clients, be the main point of contact and also be responsible for managing a team of 8 and answering any queries from both clients and junior staff. Your clients will include an array of high profile and well known clients, as well as some small high growth clients. Most will be London based but some will be international. You will be expected to service your clients to a high standard, and offer advice on a wide range of financial issues, including tax, cashflow, accounts, budgets and extracting income from businesses. You will be responsible for preparing their statutory accounts, tax returns, Vat returns and offer them general advice on how to improve their business and profitability. There will also be a large element of business development in your role, bringing in new clients as well as ensuring that existing clients are kept happy. Your role will be a mixture of being hands on and also supervisory / reviewing. Your role will be varied, challenging, yet hugely enjoyable. This role would best suit candidates from a small or medium sized practice firm carrying out a similar accounts and advisory based position.

To be considered for this new position you must be a qualified ACCA / ACA and have some Post qualification experience. You will currently be working for a UK based accountancy practice firm and currently be operating at manager level or be operating as an Assistant Manager and be looking to step up to manager grade.You must have experience managing your own portfolio of client and service clients to a very high standard. You need to have experience preparing accounts, tax returns, reviewing work and handling all client queries. Experience of, or a strong interest in media, entertainment, music and creative clients is also required. Experience of a range of software packages, particularly CCH Accounts Production and Xero, is an advantage. You must also possess very strong communication skills and be smart in appearance, since the role involves regular contact with high profile clients.
