As one of the region's largest housing developers, DCH maintains and manages over 22,550 homes, including rent, leasehold and shared ownership. We are a charitable organisation, but we do run a strong, commercially-minded business that re-invests as much as we can back into new homes and thriving communities.

An opportunity has arisen for an assertive and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills to maintain a number of sheltered housing schemes in the Okehampton and Tavistock areas, Devon.

You will be the residents' main point of contact on site, communicating with a diverse range of people to provide a customer focused service. You will need to use your skills and initiative to maintain a high standard across our schemes. Duties include recording health and safety assessments, monitoring contractors and estate maintenance, reporting repairs and liaising with our Repairs and Maintenance teams and other contractors. Knowledge of health and safety issues would also be an advantage.

This is a maternity cover post and will be for a minimum of six month period with a possibility of the role being extended.

In return, DCH provides a generous entitlement to paid holiday increasing with length of service, a choice of defined benefit or defined contribution pension scheme, a healthcare cash plan, Employee Assistance Programme and great opportunities and support to develop your career.
