Business Analyst required to join a Top 10 Global Law Firm working in its Central London offices. As Business Analyst you will work as part of the London IT Project Delivery team and will have responsibility for investigation business systems, identifying options for improving business systems and bridging the needs of the business with the use of IT.

Primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst:-

- Examine the business needs in terms of present and future IT requirements
- Create requirements documents and model the relationship between different requirements, business goals and project objectives
- Work with the Senior Project Delivery Manager, UK, EMEA and Asia and Business Analysts to deliver pre-project work take on analysis as part of a defined process
- Work with Project Managers and sponsors to scope projects and define success criteria
- Co-operate with technical specialists and users to understand how far the available systems can meet the business needs
- Help manage expectations and communicate with stakeholders within and outside of the IT Project Delivery team
- Evaluate tenders with external suppliers
- Create, maintain and develop relationships with business stakeholders in the legal and support communities

Essential skills of the Business Analyst:-

- At least 3 years experience working in a BA capacity
- Proven and demonstrable experience of capturing and improving business process as part of a range of project types
- Ability to understand and communicate business systems at a high, firm-wide solution level, and also at a detailed data object or process-step level
- Solid understanding of project management techniques
- Solid experience of agile development methodology
- Solid commercial skills, including reviewing and validating proposals, making recommendations
- Good understanding of current and future technology trends, with experience of legal technology as an advantage
- Solid experience of working in a large Law Firm or a Large Professional Services Company
- Proven experience working in an ITIL structured environment

Desirable skills of the Business Analyst:-

- One or more professional and widely recognised qualifications or accreditations which relate to change management, business analysis or project/programme management. Qualifications in all three would be a distinct advantage

As a Business Analyst you will receive a base salary of up to £51,000, plus a bonus of up to 10% together with extensive benefits, including contributory pension, private medical with BUPA, season ticket loan, childcare vouchers, subsidised canteen, subsidised gym membership, a minimum of 25 days holiday to name but a few.
