High Throughput Screening (HTS) Applications Scientist

To provide first line HTS Automation applications & software support to ensure maximum system efficiency & minimal system downtime.

Provide the highest level of support for internal/external customers concerning the operation of HTS Automation equipment optimising systems and protocols.

Facilitate efficient plate moves across multiple robots and functions to permit efficient transfer across protocols.

Train users on Automation applications and develop introductory workshops for new users looking to utilise the equipment.

Remote phone application software is to be deployed to permit scientist to operate, interact & diagnose assays from within and outside of the laboratory, knowledge of Overlord, Cellario, Titian Mosaic & SAMI Software is an advantage.

Establish best practice for first line software support for the HTS Group and lead its implementation.

Participate in the investigation & analysis of system application needs and problems presented by customers. Monitor patterns of user errors and run failures in order to identify the causes to prevent them from reoccurring.

Identify & develop solutions to problems which are commonly faced when using their equipment.

Specialist in Lab Automation, this would include but not be limited to, Agilent Velocity11, Beckman, BioCel, Biomek, Compound Management Storage, HighRes Bio, KUKA LBR iiwa R800, Labcyte, Thermo, Hamilton, Tecan, Microstar, Microplate Imaging.
