Senior Network Analyst

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Network Analyst based in Knaresborough working for my client on a permanent basis.

Duties of the senior Network Analyst include but not limited to:

- Install, configure, maintain, support, and secure the organization's network communications, including LANs and/or WANs.
- Identify network problems, isolate root causes, and initiates corrective action. Determine priority of action and additional resources required, based on severity of service interruption.
- Provide technical analysis to all customers to isolate issues and develop strategies to restore or activate services.
- Interact with Telecommunication Engineers, LAN Administrators, and transmission and RF staff regarding ongoing network activities.
- Ascertain compliance with security, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Generate reports on network performance, trouble-shooting results, and routine maintenance of network elements.
- This role requires individuals to work within the demands a global 24x7 High availability transaction oriented network.
- Ability to translate business requirements into network requirements and collaboratively work with other technical teams to deliver an overall solution.

Key Skills/Requirements:

- Strong network routing and switching experience
- Good knowledge of Cisco IOS
- Experience working in a PM lead Project Delivery environment
- Experience creating low-level network designs
- Experience with Change Control compliance
- Experience with Network Toubleshooting and tools
- 'Hands on' Network experience and a willingness to get involved in physical patching and installs


- Experience with Cisco Nexus Hardware
- Knowledge of F5 LTM
- Experience of working with virtual networking environments
- Basic ITIL training
- Experience working within a PCI governed 'fintech' company
