Our client is one of the world's leading producers of financial services software. They are helping to transform the global financial services industry by making financial institutions more resilient, more efficient, and more competitive.

They currently have a position available for a Project Manager who wants to join their fantastic team in London. As a Project Manager you are responsible for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of client projects. They are looking for someone who has extensive implementation of Core Banking products experience.

Project managers ensure the project is completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly. Projects are usually separate to the client´s usual day-to-day business activities and require a group of people to work together to achieve a set of specific objectives. Project managers oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
*Support and lead the planning and implementation of project
*Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
*Define project tasks, resource requirements
*Development and management of project plans
*Assemble and coordinate project staff
*Manage project resource allocation and budget
*Providing advice on the management of projects
*Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
*Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
*Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
*Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing
Depending on the project, responsibilities can cover all aspects of a project from the beginning stages through to completion. Project managers typically lead by example, so expect to be working at least the same hours as your staff.

Skills & Requirements:
You will need a good degree, preferably in a topic related to the industry you wish to move into. Qualification in project management or equivalent
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Direct work experience in project management capacity
Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management

Key Competencies:
Organizational, analytical, interpersonal, management and leadership skill.
Communication and team working skills
Ability to motivate people
