My client, a leading multinational bank based in the heart of the City is currently looking to fill a high level Director position within the organisation. This is a newly created role with the purpose of tracking Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) legislative and regulatory developments that impact businesses in the UK and globally and managing associated regulatory change projects.

You will also be responsible for the MiFID reporting and monitoring including implementation of a monitoring and review program for all business lines. You will develop a framework to identify upcoming regulatory change across the world impacting on the business activities and strategies of the Bank and maintain the regulatory control log (or its equivalent under the new framework).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior staff at all levels to assist the Bank in adapting to regulatory change by interpreting regulatory expectations. Due to the nature of the role, you will be expected to travel to other offices globally.

To be considered for this opportunity you need to match the following criteria;

* Senior level projects professional (either as a Programme Manager or as a Director)
* Experience of successfully delivering front to back regulatory change projects (ideally MiFID but EMIR, Dodd Frank, Volcker etc. would also be considered)
* Previous experience of building and leading a team
* The ability to deal with senior level stakeholders
* A very strong understanding of Compliance
