Rate:c £30-40,000 per annum / £18-26.00 per hour

Duration:12-18 months

Start Date:1st November 2016

World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Coordinator with previous experience within Energy Trading, Commodities Trading or Shipping who has a solid background with drafting and reviewing contract documentation for spot and term sales and purchase contracts so that they accurately reflect the terms agreed by traders as recorded in the deal capture system.

Role Description:

* Review and respond to non-standard counterparty contracts
* Work closely with Traders and Commercial Advisors
* To draft all deal amendments in a timely manner
* Ensure all trades are properly documented and acknowledged in a timely fashion
* To target agreed KPI performance goals for contract drafting and dispatch
* Support the Commercial Advisors in providing pre and post deal support to the business
* Maintain complete electronic deal record for all trades: contracts and documents

Ideal Candidate:

* You need Energy Trading or Commodity Trading or Shipping experience
* This needs combining with a Legal or Para Legal Contract administration Role
* You need a flexible approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Able to critically review and draft contracts and to identify issues and exposures
* An ability to work under pressure and to deliver first class results all the time
* Must have good communication skills, capable of engaging with traders and other stakeholders to ensure all contract are accurate and fit for purpose

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
