Supply Chain Program Manager - Spine

Position Description

The Supply Chain Program manager is part of the Spine Leadership team and is responsible for supporting center led strategic projects as well as overall Spine Supply Chain Strategy. Develops and implements Supply Chain strategies and innovative solutions which support the business, customer satisfaction, cost management and Supply Chain performance objectives. Provides project management and expertise to cross-functional teams and facilitates these teams in the development and execution of long-term strategies that will optimize Spine Supply Chain performance, improving processes and systems.

Position Responsibilities
*Provide cross-functional leadership in the Spine Pain execution of key center led initiatives such as County of Origin, Freight Optimization, Planning Platform and Supply Planning initiatives.
*Support for planning processes, inventory management, rough cut capacity planning and Operational SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) Process.
*Develop, sponsor and lead key initiatives and programs that enable Spine Supply Chain strategy and improve execution and delivery performance
*Help transform set build models within Spine, lead initiative and enable change
*Interface with business leaders including general managers on supply chain execution improvements
*Develop and streamline improved reporting
*Lead process improvement and problem solving initiatives and influence corrective action results
*Contribute toward sector education of the role and value of the supply chain team.
*Communicate and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive staff and other teams to achieve alignment with key stakeholders
*Present results and share best practices across Supply Chain teams
*Provide coaching and establish development opportunities for staff.
*Ensures compliance with Quality System requirements
*Other non-routine duties assigned by Supervisor
*All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System.
*Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
*All other duties as assigned.
*Travel requirement: 25%

Education Required

*Bachelor's degree required
*5+ years with Bachelor's degree or 4+ years with Master's/advanced degree in manufacturing planning, purchasing or expediting materials
*3+ years of experience providing work direction and leadership to people and teams including broad multi-functional business experience

Desired/Preferred Qualifications
*Master's Degree or MBA preferred
*Certified Production Inventory Management (CPIM) or APICS certification
*Medical Device industry experience
*7 years experience using advanced ERP systems (SAP) Demand Management, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
*Green belt, Black belt or Master Black Belt certification
*Excellent decision making, oral and written communication skills with ability to interface and influence at all organization levels
