My client is a global research-based biopharmaceutical company headquartered in the US. The company employs more than 26,000 people worldwide and markets medicines in more than 170 countries.

An opportunity is now available for a Senior Brand Communications and Patient Relations Manager for the Speciality Products Brand Team.

You will be responsible for leading communications programmes to support Specialised Products indications, leveraging brand positioning data, developing key messages and managing diverse communication channels.


- Lead strategic brand communications
- Oversee implementation of specific communications and patient relations/advocacy programmes
- Represent external stakeholders at brand team meetings
- Set overall strategy and develop engagement plans
- Proactively identify opportunities for brand communications across stakeholder groups
- Align external and internal news flow
- Work closely with Government Affairs and Market Access


- Consolidated communications programming and media relations expertise

- Experience working with patient groups
- Networking, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to inspire confidence among senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Ability to work to deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of the evolving UK NHS, political, patient environment and stakeholders
- Knowledge of the media and trends in communications
