Technical Service Team Administrator / Logistics Specialist

Location: Eton, near Slough, Berkshire
Salary: Circa £25,000 DOE
Contract: Permanent role

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join their internal IT Support Team to carry out non-technical administration, Purchasing and logistics tasks.

The ideal candidate must have:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to manage, maintain and nurture supplier relationships
- A high degree of accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail
- IT savvy with experience with hardware set-ups including laptops and printers
- Knowledge of basic cabling standards and Audio/Visual Equipment
- Familiarity with licensing models for major vendors

There is a degree of travel necessary for the post holder, and the successful candidate should be able and willing to travel to other UK offices to support operations and any special projects. There could also be the opportunity for some International travel.


- Manage the purchasing process throughout the EMEA region
- Ensuring that appropriate levels of stock is maintained in each country as required.
- Review supplier arrangements to improve cost effectiveness and to find new suppliers.
- Manage software licenses, maintenance and support contracts.
- Manage the asset lists for all technical assets.
- Provide on-site support at events hosted by the business
- Ensure that all required equipment is prepared for Training courses, both internal and external.
- Manage the transport of backup materials to and from off-site secure storage.
- Manage any non-technical projects as required including Equipment relocation a part of office moves
- Manage user accounts for external platforms
- Manage Telephone lines and extensions, printers set-up and repairs and the preparation of new Laptops
- Log and update relevant requests in incident management systems
- Basic network cable management
- Overseeing destruction of unwanted technical equipment in an ISO-compliant manner.
- Co-operate with technical support staff outside the EMEA Region and contribute to providing
