About the Role

Business Operations is looking for a Management information and Business Analyst Lead to manage our team providing reporting and analytics across our partnership. This is a unique and exciting opportunity and will help shape the future of our award winning Shared Service Centre.

Sitting at the heart of our directorate which now spans two councils in partnership, Business Operations are focused on providing the best service and value to our customers. As the service continues to grow, it becomes increasingly important that we are carefully monitoring and stretching our performance to be the best in what we do.

A central aspect of our strategy is to constantly increase our operational excellence, we need to utilise feedback from our customers and systems to target our areas of improvement; to be sure we are making the impact that matters. This new role will be pivotal in helping us create and introduce the right measures and performance mechanisms to realize our business goals. By developing dashboards, compiling performance metrics, and making recommendations based upon data and presenting information in a clear concise manner to our Senior Management Team. Using in depth knowledge of data the team will provide reports to cabinet in order to monitor the organisations performance in areas such as workforce information.

To be equal to the challenge, you will need a proven track record in business analytics and ability to drive insight through data. We'll expect you to demonstrate an understanding of Shared Service Centre processes and have the ability to turn raw data into actionable information. You should be able to work with the business in presenting the outputs and help create solutions to problems identified. You should have experience in creating high performing teams with a consistent quality delivery. As a new role you have an opportunity to carve new territories for an ambitious shared service centre.
