Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer- Abingdon - £39,900 4 on 4 off days shift

An established and growing Manufacturing company is looking to increase its capabilities and processes by adding a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to their team.

The right person for this role will be an experienced/time served, Mechanical Engineer/Fitter with a good understanding and experience of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.


- Ensure all equipment is serviced and repaired efficiently
- Pre-Planned maintenance is carried out effectively and downtime reduced
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics


- Apprentice trained or HNC qualified
- Experience in an automated plant
- Planned maintenance skills
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Welding and Fabrication
- Heavy industry
- Willing to work shifts
- Electrical knowledge


- Higher qualifications in engineering
- Electrically competent
