IT Service Desk Analyst - (MS Office 2010, ITIL) - Newcastle, North East.

IT Service Desk Analyst, Helpdesk, Servicedesk - (Office 2010, ITIL, Software) to join an internal IT department based in Newcastle, North East on a 6 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for providing technical support over the telephone, resolving issues and requests relating to Software (internal applications and Office 2010) and some Hardware.

You will take, log and resolve issues, escalating where necessary.A technical support background is necessary within a Service desk environment with experience supporting at 1st/2nd line level ideally to ITIL standards. Technically you will have and knowledge and experience supporting Windows, Microsoft Office 2010 and Windows based software.

Coupled with this experience you will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to ensure that customers are satisfied at all times as this is a professional environment.

Key Skills:

* IT Helpdesk/Service Desk experience
* Good working knowledge of MS Office 2010
* Exposure to a wide range of software
* ITIL experience
