Falmouth Exeter Plus is the service delivery partner of Falmouth University (Falmouth) and the University of Exeter (UoE). We deliver shared services and facilities for UoE and Falmouth in Cornwall underpinned by close collaboration with FXU, the combined students' union for Falmouth and UoE, to ensure that the interests of students and staff are at the heart of everything that Falmouth Exeter Plus delivers.

We currently have two vacancies for Support Engineers within the Estates Department Technical Services Section.

The Technical Services Support Engineer forms an integral part of the team with the main focus on long term improvement works and allocated projects.

You will be expected to act in an advisory capacity, based on their extensive knowledge of both project management and M&E Services, as to the most effective approach to deliver M&E projects to ensure their successful and timely completion.

The scope of work will encompass developing and implementing improved resilience via equipment replacement programs and services / equipment upgrades alongside provision of infrastructure to support campus developments.

Dependent upon your background the focus will be mechanically, electrically, or buildings biased, however crossover will be necessary in terms of managing works on campus and dealing with contractors.

In addition, you will be key in developing, justifying and implementing Technical Services based energy reduction initiatives.
