My client based in Esher are looking to recruit an IT support candidate to join their established team.

Purpose of the role:
Providing end-user support to users over the telephone, via remote support, email and face-to-face, with the ability to operate with users at every level across the business.

At least 3 years+ IT experience with the ability to use skills and experience to grow with the business.

* Good technical background, able to explain information in simple, clear terms to a non-IT personnel.
* An ability to assess each customer/employee's IT knowledge levels
* Logical thinker
* Good analytical and problem solving skills with efficient escalation insight.
* Up-to-date technical knowledge
* An in depth understanding of the software and equipment employees are using
* Good professional interpersonal and customer care skills

Delivering support on the following:
* Systems - Windows 7/8
* Install, update, maintain and support Windows operating systems
* Diagnosing and solving hardware faults
* Install, update, maintain and support various software from different vendors ie. MS Office, AutoCad, McAfee Anti-virus, etc
* Resolve connectivity issues in offices and onsite
* Understanding of networking
* Setup, patch and troubleshoot phones
* Manage backups and log support calls with Symantec Backup Exec
* Install configure printers
* Setup, test, maintain and support phones
* Monitoring anti-virus, spam, etc
* Driver with a car
