Secondsite Recruitment is seeking a personable and proactive individual with excellent customer service skills to join our client based in central Oxford for the position of a Shop Manager. This is a varied role with the primary task being to manage the day to day running of the shop, whilst optimising sales.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, possess a high level of organisational skills, have a flexible approach, creative flair and be self-driven. This position would suit someone who has previous retail experience.

Job role:Shop Manager
Location:Oxford, Oxfordshire
Salary:£8.34 per hour
Hours:35 hours per week (will include working weekends)
Type: Permanent

Primary duties;
* Control of stock rotation
* Developing and maintaining a process for stock management to optimise sales
* Produce and complete weekly reports and ensure accurate record keeping
* Recruit, train, manage and motivate a strong team
* Promote good practice within the shop
* Cash handling, banking and relevant administration
* Promote the shop within the local area

Candidate Specification;
* Knowledge of marketing displays, merchandising and fashion trends
* Retail experience
* Experience of team management
* Strong organisational skills
* Passionate about delivering a high level of customer service
* Understanding and ability to use Microsoft applications
* Excellent communicator and strong team player
* Expert ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
