This Sales Coordinator role is for a national Bingo chain that pride themselves on providing an experience, which is not just about Bingo and understands how important their local Bingo Club is to many of their customers. The company strives to deliver (not just) great service, but a bingo experience which focuses on ambience, safety and fun in a modern environment.

Based at one of the company's state of the art bingo venues in Northampton, this Sales Coordinator position is a new role within the business, created to boost sales for using the bingo premises for parties and events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Actively promote parties, events and promotions to businesses and to the local community.
- To develop and maintain a customer base for the bingo club and follow up on all enquires.
- Respond to sales enquiries and process bookings.
- Dealing with customers over the telephone, negotiating and upselling.
- Attending networking groups locally to promote the brand.
- Cold calling businesses or individuals to promote clubs as locations for holding parties/ events.
- Actively seek and support marketing opportunities for the venue.
- Send out mailshots to new and existing customers to promote events/promotions.
- Come up with new ways of promoting venues as the go-to location for parties/ events.
- Initiate, coordinate and/or participates in all efforts to publicise events.
- Keep up to date with all promotions and events happening within the bingo venue.
- Project manage all event bookings from start to end, including supervising event planning and delivery.
- Proactively account management new and existing client base to grow revenue.
- Collaborate with other departments and operational staff to ensure a high quality of event delivery.

Key Skills and Experience:

- Experience of promoting events/ parties/ entertainment venues
- Approachable and friendly
- Ability to close sales enquiries
- Comfortable cold calling
- Ability to be innovative and use own initiative
- Excellent communication skills including exceptional telephone manner
- Outgoing, motivated and confident
- Flexible with hours of work
