Our client manufactures the highest quality, easiest to use, and most durable weathering and corrosion test equipment in the world and is a global provider of material durability testing products for more than 50 years. Their products and services are used to test plastics, automotive, personal care, roofing, inks, textiles, pharmaceutical, packaging and sealants and they are also the world leader in supplying metal test substrates to the coatings industry. Continuing to increase sales of this particular product family is critical to the overall company success and they now have a requirement for an EMEA panels specialist to join their sales team.

The key objective in this role is to champion this product throughout the UK and Ireland and to develop the product range throughout the EMEA region by managing our distributor network and working closely with the sales teams in order to grow sales. You will identify opportunities for growth in existing and new markets, pursue sales leads, spot and develop new business opportunities and overall lead and manage the customers in this particular product including taking enquiries, generating quotes, visiting customers, processing orders, as well as dealing with customer complaints. When required, you will attend trade shows, travel to meet with customers for any cross-selling opportunities but also to provide training, support and resolve any problems/issues on the product offered.

This role will focus on the EMEA region so you must be able to speak fluent German in order to be successfully shortlisted. You will need at least 3 years' experience in a similar engineering/scientific industry and/or selling a technical product. We are looking for a pro-active sales individual who can analyse the market to identify opportunities, who can build and develop relationships and who will be confident communicating with and responding to customers' needs. We will need to see a track record of success in building & implementing sales and working with distributors. To be successful in this role you'll need to be an excellent communicator and listener and be a team player with bags of enthusiasm about selling technical products & services. You will need a technical qualification and detailed achievements within your application in order to be shortlisted for this role.
