Location: Kensington

Salary: Up to £55,000

A market-leading entertainment company is seeking a Support Manager to join their Royalties team, providing support to an international customer base as an essential part of the business workflow.

Role Overview

With an increased profile in the organisation in recent years, this tight-knit team of three is now looking to expand to address their growing workload. This person will provide support to their bespoke in-house royalties' system, as well as supporting the team and wider user base throughout a number of projects. Their responsibilities will include:

- Management of an off-shore team of 3 developers to provide support to an international user base, ensuring that production issues are prioritised and resolved effectively and efficiently.
- Work closely and collaboratively with royalty business teams both in the UK and internationally to proactively improve offerings to customers, affiliates and 3rd party partners.
- Provide short-term fixes to a range of issues, but also provide longer-term solutions, including initiating and running training programs for the international royalty teams
- Manage deployment and upgrade of new software, as well as other projects.
- Visit affiliates where necessary to provide face-to-face support (some international travel required).



- Significant commercial development experience, involving design and implementation of complex systems, which is now utilised in the management of technical support staff.
- Ability to pick up an understanding of bespoke technical systems quickly
- Motivated individual, able to build strong relationships with both colleagues and affiliates, and work independently under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to constantly changing environments and a varied, internationally based user base.


- Expert knowledge of Oracle DBA, TOAD and .NET; knowledge of Business Objects
- Experience working in an international environment
- Experience managing offshore teams
- Familiarity with working with royalty systems, or similar.
