A well established and highly regarded energy business is seeking to speak with experienced energy industry analysts/consultants familiar with Central Volume Allocation and Supplier Volume Allocation of Electricity, for a number of opportunities in their regulatory and compliance teams in London.

These are excellent opportunities, requiring elements of market analysis and electricity industry knowledge, account management and operational support; you will be responsible for enhancing the customer relationship by providing them with specialist advice becoming the 'go-to' contact for all their future industry enquiries.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Analyse the UK electricity market trading governance codes and relay updates to these codes to a client base of energy businesses and senior stakeholders, in order to ensure their businesses are compliant for electricity trading.
- Understand the impact of industry change has on our customers and communicate the potential services, risks and issues professionally.
- Act as a first point of contact for B2B customer enquiries regarding UK electricity industry regulations, systems and processes.
- Stakeholder management - setting, planning and delivering customer service expectations.
- To maintain appropriate records on performance and processes for your customers.
- Review and produce papers and/or presentations for clients, customers and internal managers.
- Provide education and guidance to customers, and new internal staff, on processes and areas for change.
- Identify and implement performance improvements where necessary.

Ideal experience/knowledge required:

- A technical/numerical degree, ideally energy related, and excellent analytical skillsets.
- Knowledge of the UK electricity markets (retail, regulatory, consultancy, etc), aware of industry changes and the potential impact to business stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the UK Electricity Market Entry processes would be ideal.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and non-verbally.
- Confident in giving presentations within a formal environment.
- A strong customer focus and experience in building lasting professional relationships.
