Main Purpose

The HR Business Partner plays a vital role in supporting the business in human resources and employee relations activities for the business ensuring legislation is adhered to and that personnel are used in the most effective manner for both the company and the employee.

Key Accountabilities

- Responsible for supporting and updating a business unit on all employee relations matters
- Contribute to a multitude of HR activities such as talent management, sucession planning and drive business performance
- To provide HR advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of operational human Resources issues
- To advise, managers and staff on issues of employment legislation
- Responsibility for dealing with any tribunal claims that arise
- Key part of the HR team and will work across the business disciplines to lead and influence change at an operational level
- Working with individual business areas to improve Employee Satisfaction scores, creating a plan and actions
- To produce timely, regular management information reports onkey performance indicators within HR
- To manage internal HR projects and ensuring action plans and work programmes are delivered to agreed deadline, cost and quality standards
- To deliver in house HR coaching/traning to managers

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential Functional Skills/Experience

- The ideal candidate will possess strong employee relations experience and a full understanding of current employment legislation
- CIPD qualified or working towards
- Excellent Record of Achievement resolving difficult casework problems
- You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
