Our client a main contractor on Scottish Water is looking for a Flushing Supervisor to work nights Mon - Thursday on their flushing works. You will work 32 hours a week but be paid for 40. Thus you will be on an equivalent rate between £13.22 - £14.22 per hour depending on experience. A Van + Fuel card will be included. This is very much a long term contract that will lead into a permanent position.

This role may include staying away Mon-Thurs. If so all expenses are paid.

Role Summary:

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

·Facilitate the supervisors to ensure the crews achieve agreed output targets for crew whilst maintaining quality of work
·Conduct problem solving and escalate any issues
·Identify continual improvement opportunities
·Responsible for allocated work (quality and accuracy of information)

Programme Management

·Compile Daily Updates from supervisors and distribute appropriately, co-ordinating and resolving any site issues raised
·Attending office and site-based meetings.
·Quality & Adherence to H&S of Works
·Monitor DOMS compliance on site
·Monitor customer interaction of site- based staff
·Monitor use of Works Mobile(WM) and report issues as appropriate
·Carry out site based Audits (in accordance with Audit tracker compliance)
·Monitor working hours
·Rectify/advise on site and technical issues
·Promote good working practices
·Manage personal working hours as required (Night shift).
·Any additional duties as and when required
·Monitor and carry out Quality Audits on all site work undertaken by your team.
·Identify areas for continual improvement

Essential Experience/Qualifications

·Minimum of 5 years Water Distribution Experience including repairs, chlorination, new installations, leakage, etc.
·Hold a valid EUSR DOMS (Distribution, Operations, Maintenance, Strategy) Card
·Hold a valid NRSWA Supervisor's Card, including Unit 2 signing, lighting and guarding
·Willingness to work nights.
