About the Company

My client is a privately owned company and based in Essex. The nature of the business is the supply of modular buildings both new and preowned along with all related services.

Our Products

Our modular buildings are built from new in a factory setting or sourced secondhand, removed from site and refitted within our depot.

Our Services

The company has in house capability to carry out all the necessary processes involved in the installation or removal of a modular building. Typically all secondhand modular buildings purchased for stock are refitted either offsite at our depot or onsite.

The company provides products and services to the following markets: Construction, Education, Energy, Rail, Infrastructure, Commercial, Military, and Aviation.

Primary Role

·Multi-skilled site management experience

·Manage Sub-contract trades

·Organise, oversee and control operational activities upon site

·Enhance customer relations through the delivery of reliable scheduled services

·To bring greater efficiency to each contract or job by virtue of implementing careful advanced planning and ensuring quality of workmanship

·To take responsibility for and act as a single point of contact for resolving operational problems that occur within the field

·To develop an understanding of and assist in the on-going improvement of systems and processes that govern and control the effective delivery of quality workmanship and services

·Write all A&C derived method statements and risk assessment

·Full P&L responsibility of contracts

·Manage/Agree additional works with Clients

·Maintain accurate records

Secondary Role/s

·To understand and deliver a level of performance and quality that reflects the aspirations of the company

·To reduce the financial cost implications of poor planning, mistakes and snagging of works

·Interface with operational activities within the office

·Refine and develop documents to be used in quality control and audit

·Write MS project planners

·Accompany sales team to site meetings/surveys

·Personable with a clean and tidy appearance

·Able to multitask

·Able to manage sub-contractors

·Commercially aware

·Good time management

·Good leadership skills

·Proficient in the use of:

·MS Word

·MS Excel

·MS Project Planner

·MS Outlook


Payable upon review of performance, actual profits realised and ultimately at the discretion of the Directors.

Typical / minimum expected hours of work:

9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Occasionally additional working hours may be required to be worked in accordance with meeting quotation and tender deadline/contract completion. You will be expected to put in the additional hours without a claim for additional pay/overtime.


The Company offers a non-contributory Stakeholder pension scheme after 3 months of permanent employment.
