An opportunity currently exists for an experienced PMO Manager to join a Birmingham based organisation and to take responsibility for the leadership of a corporate PMO office and an established team of PMO Professionals. This is a unique opportunity where you will lead a PMO function working in high value, high profile programmes of work.

This is a key role within our clients business that requires leadership and the provision of high level services to a variety of programmes operating across our clients business. The management and coordination of resource whilst ensuring best practise across the Programme and Project function is key to this role.

You will be responsible for,

Ensuring that project and programme management best practise is implemented and maintained.

Driving forward and leading a PMO function through to a mature state.

The development and provision of standards and expertise across the programme management office.

Manage and implement project/programme process and procedure at corporate level.

Manage project/programme resource to ensure the correct levels of support are assigned to project/programme managers.

This is a permanent role that will suit an experienced PMO Manager. You will have strong communication and management skills, extensive experience of programme management methodologies and tools. You will be educated to a high level and hold relevant project management qualifications.

Salary will be in the region of £50-55,000 plus benefits package.
