The Trainee Recruitment Consultant Role - what does it involve?

- Telephone based sales - 70% of day on the phone
- Developing new business in the construction and design markets - sometimes internationally
- Working the international market - flexible working hours
- Candidate attraction and selection - be able to build rapport quickly and not be afraid to interview confidently, happ to headhunt and approach candidates directly.
- Working to daily targets
- Organising interviews and taking a candidate through a selection process

The Person

- Who will make a successful trainee recruitment consultant?
- Graduate calibre - must be intelligent and able to converse with senior management
- Commercial experience - this is flexible however must be able to give examples of working to targets
- Articulate - clear and concise on the telephone
- Possess a real desire to succeed.
- Have clear career goals
- Be an achiever (who has demonstrated some kind of achievement in their career/extracurricular/ education)
- Be a focused individual who has exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Be prepared to go beyond the call of duty
