My client is one of the largest training providers in the UK and going from strength to strength, and now recruiting for a Learning & Development Manager to join their growing HR Division. The organisation is a real success story with a fantastic product, helping to support the education sector with motivational programmes, tailored to the needs of individual students, supported by interactive learning platforms, developed and designed in house.

They are looking to recruit for a self-motivated and spirited Learning and Development Manager for their rapidly expanding training company based in Coventry. Reporting to the Joint Managing Director, you will partner the organisation and senior stakeholders to implement its L&D strategy and be part of an amazing journey as the company continues to grow.

You will work on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday . An excellent working environment along with 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days) plus bank holidays. A company laptop, mobile phone and business mileage is provided.

What is essential to this role is that the successful candidate is proactive, driven and will enjoy working in a fast paced environment. This role requires energy and someone who wants to get things done, driven by the commercials.

To be successful with this job you need the following:

- To manage the transition of new training team members from induction to full integration into the training team, and to manage ongoing learning and development of the existing training team.
- To manage the on-boarding process for all new training staff through recruitment registration, clearance and induction.
- To ensure a continual improvement process exists to develop the skills of existing training staff and improve overall quality.
- Working closely with the National Programme Development Manager and the training Team Leaders to continually improve quality and meet objectives set within KPIs.
- Circa two to three years of experience in a similar background

Skills and Experience:

- Desirable - previous experience working within a learning and development management role within a commercial business
- Experience of working within a fast paced training environment
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels
- The ability to manage your own timetable and work to strict deadlines on your own initiative
