Our client is an established managed IT support provider who, due to continued growth, is seeking an experienced sales account manager to join the team and help drive the business further.

The role is a mix of account management, new business, upselling and cross selling. The Internal Sales Executive role is involved with sales from the opportunity stage right through to completion and invoicing. The role requires communicating with the Service Desk Administrators, Project Manager, Service Team, and Finance Department.

The Internal Sales Executive role is greatly varied and includes proactively calling customers, information gathering, seeking new business opportunities, understanding client requirements, becoming familiar with their account, engaging with suppliers for the best available prices, quoting customers through the CRM system, following up with customers, monitoring quotes, agreeing lead times with customers and setting expectations which allow the service to be delivered in a timely manner. With the ever changing world of technology the role of the Internal Sales Executive requires you to become familiar with these new technologies through training programmes and by working closely with vendors to ensure that you are listed for monthly newsletters and road maps for new technologies.

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:

- High level of experience in a customer focused environment, dealing with customer queries either face to face or by telephone.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal and an ability to build effective relationships.
- Fluency in English both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of technology, preferably from a previous IT company.
- Ability to analyse customers and identify opportunities
- Flexible and able to cope under pressure.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Enjoy the art of sales and cold calling coupled with a persistent hunter mentality.
- A highly motivated self-starter with a continuous focus on improvement.
- A fast learner who is open to new ideas and has an ability to engage fully with all business operations.
- Ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills with high attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and business acumen.

Our client offers a good basic salary which is dependent on experience, plus uncapped OTE of £35k. They offer initial and on-going training and invest heavily in the continued development of employees.
