Based in Poole we are one of the UK's leading manufacturers of desktop and laptop PC systems. Our clients range from average home users, gamers and enthusiasts through to demanding business users with varying business requirements. We pride ourselves on having the best customer service and technical support in the computer retail industry. Our business is rapidly growing and require a new staff member to join the team.

The Job

A new position requirement has been identified for a Quality Technician to help the company move forward and add value to the business - as such the successful applicant will be a highly valued member of the team and will be able to make a significant difference.

Main roles and responsibilities;

- To work with the Production Team and quality check all built systems to ensure they conform to the required standards.
- Perform Toolbox Talks as and when required.
- Work with RMA & Support to collect data to in turn identify recurring issues.
- Data analysis and top 5 fault diagnosis.
- Prepare Weekly reports for discussion at a weekly quality meeting.
- Prepare training documentation.

Required skills and experience;

- Experience within a quality role in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and systems.
- Computer literate and able to create and control documentation.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and full command of written and spoken English.

The following experience will be valued;

- Knowledge of desktop and laptop PC hardware & Software.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System.
- Quality tools including 5 Whys, Six Sigma, Pareto Principles etc.
- A complete love of PC hardware!
