E-Commerce Technical Test Lead - Dublin
Vacancy Description:
Our client is seeking an E-Commerce Technical Test Lead, to be based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the test team to define and deliver robust and scalable technical test solutions; managing and developing the technical test team to build test capability support for high availability and complex transactional based systems; defining, selecting and implementing automation tools and best practice in process, tools and standards; creating and maintaining appropriate documentation for defined test solutions; creating and executing solutions within an Agile development methodology for end-to-end feature testing and continuous integration, as well as leading the test script development effort for unit and functional testing; determining and reporting KPI's to measure and promote the effectiveness of implemented solutions; championing best practice within the company for Technical testing; and testing environment management and control.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have proven ability to determine and implement technical testing solutions, and the commercial awareness needed to add value to the testing process; experience in leading and developing a high performing testing team gained in a highly transactional, dynamic e-commerce business; excellent working knowledge of automation and technical test solutions - e.g. QTP, Selenium, jUnit, Loadrunner, Quality Centre; familiarity with complex web applications; a solid working knowledge of scripting languages as well as a 2.1 or higher in a related discipline from a top tier academic institution, Masters a plus, and strong Unix/RDBMS/XML/API experience.
