Security Officer, Burton Latimer - 4 months
Weetabix manufacture some of the nation’s favourite breakfast cereals and cereal bars, including Weetabix, Ready brek and Alpen, recently adding to our already impressive portfolio with the successful launch of Weetabix Chocolate, Weetabix Spoonsize and Weetabix Golden Syrup.
We are now looking to recruit an experienced Security Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is primarily based at our Burton Latimer site, with a requirement to work at our other Northamptonshire sites on occasion.
Duties include patrolling our 85 acre site and the management of fire devices, CCTV, access control and intruder systems. Excellent customer service skills are essential, along with written and verbal communication.
The successful applicant will have previous Security experience, possess basic IT skills, hold a valid First Aid certificate, SIA and NVQ qualifications, be BS7858 compliant and preferably hold defibrillator certification (although not essential). Experience within the food section would also be an advantage but not essential.
Working shifts are based on a 6 on 2 off basis, working 8 hour shifts on a rotation basis to ensure 24/7 cover of our sites.
