Sheffield, city centre location - Telephone Based

Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm

The shape of Johnston Press is evolving rapidly. We are a multimedia publisher with decades of experience in providing marketing solutions for both SME and multi-national brands including Sheffield Star, The Yorkshire Post, Portsmouth News, The Scotsman and associated websites.

The world of recruitment advertising is also evolving rapidly and we have some exciting new opportunities for experienced Inbound Sales Agents.

In this role of Outbound Sales Account Manager, you will be joining an existing team of 4 Account Managers. This team are responsible for the development of our "self serve" customers. Recruiters interact with us via a number of ways, one being the "self serve" area of the Jobs Today website. More often than not, this is by purchasing a single job credit for a vacancy anywhere within the UK. It is the role of this team to make contact with these recruiters, upselling them to a host of other Johnston Press digital and print products and managing their account for all their future recruitment needs. We also have a database of historic "self serve" customers, all of whom need contact and presenting our most current and relevant offerings to; this is where you fit into this team.

Building multi media campaigns to ensure their vacancies are visible to the highest number of relevant candidates is your responsibility, as is tracking their response during the campaigns to ensure they are happy every step of the way.

Experience of working in a cold calling environment is strongly desirable.

Successful candidates will need to be ready to face challenging but achievable targets and to meet expectations in line with the Johnston Press UK-wide footprint and will have a proven track record in sales target achievement.

You will also need to be innovative and open to new ideas and product lines in an ever changing environment. 100% dedication is necessary. As well as having great multi-media knowledge, successful candidates will also need to demonstrate strengths in customer care, along with a very strong productivity record. Experience of working in or knowledge of the recruitment market would also be advantageous.
