What we are looking for:
An enthusiastic and confident sales manager to lead and be responsible for our sales and customer service operation; a confident telephone manor, possessing great sales and up-selling skills, with a strong focus on margin and profits. The ability to challenge the norm, question and think creatively. Strong people-manager with the ability to lead, coach and motivate their small team, giving hands on support and strategic direction.
You will be working within an office environment with a small sales team who deal with inbound communication via telephone, email and live chat. No cold calling.
Your Duties will involve:
Being quick to identify and implement improvements for the benefit of the business. Manage the performance of your team members via internal policies and procedures Motivate the team and individual members to encourage high performance Manage activities of the team in order to meet sales and performance targets Effectively recruit and select experienced new members in line with budgeted manpower levels Ensure KPI’s are being hit weekly Ensure daily sales targets are met and exceeded Maintain and help to develop diy2go ecommerce websites, adding new products, maintaining and managing prices and margin control, writing and proof reading copy for use on websites. Reporting, analysis and on-going optimization of all marketing channels. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, and telephone. Write and distribute small blog posts. Other projects and duties as assigned by MD.
Minimum of 2 years sales and customer service management experience in a B2C environment Previous sales experience within ecommerce is preferred Relevant experience in a high-pressure sales environment Experience of working to and achieving/exceeding targets and KPI’s on a regular basis Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience of using CRM systems Be computer literate The desire to succeed and be willing to go above and beyond to grow sales and improve performance
