As a Revit Technician you will have an immediate impact on my client. You will have a key specialist role supporting both customers and developers. My client is a leading international software company specialising in civil, geotechnical and structural engineering design, analysis and detailing software. Key Responsibilities: Review project files for compliance with standards / protocols. Implement best practice procedures. Attend task specific meetings and meet customers when required. Willingness to develop your understanding and knowledge of relevant software and tools. Assisting the Development and Sales Manager Teams with any other duties as necessary. Experience and Qualifications: Ability to prepare the CAD content for technical drawings and documents as prescribed by the Designer or Lead Designer in accordance with relevant standards and specifications. Excellent working knowledge of any CAD / AutoCAD / Revit packages. Experience with Navisworks and ideally with some knowledge of Bentley MicroStation, Tekla Systems and Allplan. Ability to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings using Revit / CAD processes and procedures. 2 years of experience of using Autodesk Revit at least. Good background in Structural and Civil Engineering and a sound knowledge of interdisciplinary coordination. Ability to perform and understand the QA and administrative processes that are required for the recording and issuing of drawings and documents. Able to carry out a wide range of tasks in support of technical staff and be capable of undertaking BIM duties unsupervised. Experience of coordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines.
