TELESALES EXECUTIVE

In the lively and competitive clearance market, Pricecheck has long established relationships with many major manufacturers and brand owners, sourcing quality product which we then sell on to a range of different outlets. We are traders – we buy and sell quality product, whilst understanding the market and getting to know exactly what our customers want. This simple and driven approach has seen us develop trade in over 75 countries as we continue to explore new categories, markets and territories. And we’re getting it right too – we were awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, High Growth Business of the Year at the Sheffield Business Awards 2017 and Export Business of the Year in 2015 as well as being recognised in The Sunday Times International Track 200.
We buy thousands of product lines from hundreds of suppliers – we never know where the next deal will take us, making for a fast paced, ever changing and exciting place to work and we’re on the lookout for a Telesales Executive to join our team.

What you’ll be doing
In this newly created role, you will be making outbound B2B calls to gather information and understand customer requirement in order to establish opportunities where Pricecheck could begin to trade.
Working from a database of active, prospect and lapsed accounts, you will qualify new business opportunities for the Sales teams to take on and explore further. Assisting the Business Development team to gather further information on potential customers, you will use your knowledge of Pricecheck to inform and persuade potential partners, helping to turn our prospects into customers. You will also provide cover to the wider Sales Support team during holiday and absence periods.
Technically savvy, you will use our CRM system to manage, track and follow up on your own contacts to manage your workload and monitor success.

How you’ll do it
Following an in depth induction where you will spend time with all areas of the business, you will be working with the wider Sales team in getting to know our systems, customers, products and industry as part of your on the job training.
Your success will be measured on your conversion rate of non-trading contacts to become customers, with a quarterly bonus structure developed to recognise your efforts and hard work.

What we’re looking for
If you shy away from the telephone, keep searching as this isn’t the job for you. Our successful candidate will enjoy building relationships over the phone and approach each call with the enthusiasm to engage and persuade.

You may be the first person that the prospect has had contact with from Pricecheck, so you are representing the business – you will be knowledgeable, professional but personable, and interested to match their needs with what we can offer.

However, we are not a hard sell – whilst you will be tenacious, you will also know how to read a situation and recognise when you have exhausted current opportunities.
You will be a confident communicator and adaptable, thriving under pressure and motivated by results. You will be goal orientated and driven to achieve – we can give you the tools, guidance and support to succeed, but you need the right attitude and determination to do it.
You will have a proven track record of sales or appointment setting, demonstrating at least 18 months’ experience in a comparable role. We look for more than just academic achievements of our team. Show us that you have entrepreneurial spirit, an interest in trading and a passion for sales - we would love to hear more from you.
As we trade internationally, we’re keen to hear from people who have language skills or experience in export, but these are not essential.
