Work mainly involves English language conversation, games, songs, role play plus written lesson plans. Ensuring positive teacher morale is essential to a successful learning experience. You will join a team of expat native English speaking teachers and will benefit from initial training, lots of peer support and guidance, a clear lesson program and curriculum plus a Chinese classroom assistant. Students will range from young kindergarten pupils to adults located at schools, universities or firms depending on your contract.
Schedule consisting of 20-hour weekly rotas available: you will have the opportunity to learn Mandarin, martial arts, Chinese arts, theatre & culture plus traveling and exploring China on ski and sea holiday breaks. You can even ask for extra work hours for more pay.
