This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join the Vital team in this newly created role; required as a result of continued Company growth. The Internal Recruiter / Recruitment & HR Assistant will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting the best talent using varied recruitment methods, screening and interviewing candidates and supporting with new starter administration and new starter inductions.

You will work closely with the HR team and managers across the business to co-ordinate and administrate the full recruitment process. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to make a recruitment role their own or for an experienced recruiter looking to broaden their HR knowledge.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Internal Recruiter / Recruitment & HR Assistant role:

- Work closely with the hiring manager in order to understand the needs of the role;
- Support& coach line managers with preparation of job descriptions;
- Co-ordinate shortlisting and interviewing;
- Support managers in interviews and coach with interviewing technique;
- Prepare job offers and employment contracts;
- Ensure completion of all relevant new starter documents and ensure all appropriate internal stakeholders are updated;
- Effectively manage a database of recruitment activity;
- Research new and innovative ways to attract the best candidates;
- Create and write engaging job adverts and placement of job advertisements both internally and externally;
- Run social media campaigns to attract a pipeline of candidates;
- Actively source candidates on job boards and LinkedIn;
- Complete right to work and referencing checks;
- Develop and deliver effective and appropriate inductions for all new starters;
- Ensure that both successful and unsuccessful candidates have the best recruitment process journey experience.
- Keep Organisation Charts accurate and up to date;
- Complete ad-hoc letters such as job title changes, promotion confirmations, etc.

To be the right candidate for the Internal Recruiter / Recruitment & HR Assistant role you will have the following experience/competencies:

- HR Administration (desirable)
- Knowledge of right to work legislation (desirable)
- Co-ordinating recruitment activity (internally or through an agency)
- Distribution/Wholesale/Manufacturing (desirable)
- Computer literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- CIPD Level 3 or above (desirable but not essential)
- Collaborative approach
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Flexible and adaptable
- Diligent with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong time management skills
