Their team in Doncaster has an opening for a 6 month fixed term contract within the HR team. They cover a number of sites and the role is varied and very busy. You must possess excellent IT administration skills and have an outlook to make things better - i.e. to continually look at processes and ask how you can do something better.

You will work within the HR team providing support and administration on key processes. To ensure full administration of the HR Resource Link System as department expert. To deputise for Snr Hr Advisors and HR Officer in key meetings/forums.

Role Responsibilities:

- Supporting recruitment activity
- Manage the Drug and Alcohol screening procedure
- Manage the MRIB returns/checking process
- Co-ordinating all temporary agency workers in the Company including checking right to work documentation and reference checks
- Support the administration of Resource Link HR system including new entrants, staff changes, leavers, post requests and other transactions.
- Liaising with group to ensure any issues with the system and reporting are resolved in a timely manner.
- Extracting data to provide to other areas of the business as requested ensuring data is transferred in the safest manner in line with Data Protection requirements.
- Supporting Snr HR Advisors in recruitment by liaising with recruitment agencies and arranging interviews where requested
- Provide management information on absence levels and welfare.
- Distribute swipe cards and process ID badges
- Long Service Awards
- Filing and archiving
- Any other duty as requested by the HR team in terms of Admin support

Essential Criteria:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent (or able to demonstrate competence at this level)
- Working towards CIPD professional qualification
- Excellent IT skills including systems administration, Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
- General HR administration experience within fast moving - HR environment
- Eye for details, excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Customer facing
- Willingness to work in a continuous improvement environment including above average problem solving skills
